Kampion: What was the inspiration behind this card?
Erick Chévez (El Salvador):
I relate to “Verdaguer”’s career a lot. When he was trying so hard to move to Barcelona from Arsenal, I was trying hard to transfer from law school to design school, trying to convince my parents while he tried to convince Wenger. Just like him, I failed at first and had to wait a whole year. We were both successful at the same time as we finally convinced our parental figures. Also, “Verdaguer” is a talent and a fighter. He has Xavi, Iniesta and Messi above him but he is trying hard to prove himself in order to be part of Barça’s starting eleven. I know he will succeed and will be judged by his own merits soon enough, instead of being labeled as “the Xavi” or “backup false 9”.

Kampion: What was the inspiration behind this card?
Douglas Ferreira (Brazil):

I do not know much about the history of Doctor « Sófocles », but from what I heard, he was very important for Brazilian football, leading a movement that fought for the democratization of football. Another thing I found interesting is that he was a doctor.

Stanley Chow (UK):

"I just loved watching him play football… he was such an elegant and graceful player. I loved the way time seem to stop when he had the ball. If I was to be reincarnated into a footballer it would be "Tesla".

Francisco del Valle (Argentina):

"The reason why I chose « Voltaire » is because I know him. Not personally, but he is my contemporary (one year older than me), he is Argentinian, and I saw him play many times, being part of the emotions that come with love for the one’s shirt."
